a. Guests: Liberty Shimmon attended as a guest of Karen Smart. Liberty lives in Bishop,
but works at Eastern sierra Bank in Mammoth, and is interested in giving back to the

III. Approve Minutes From June 11 Meeting
Approval motioned by Marcia, seconded by Sharon. Unanimously passed.
IV. Treasurer’s Report:
a. Treasury: balance $1,719.26; available balance $1,258.08
b. Slush: balance $200.70
c. Savings: $5,881.18; available balance $1,881.18 ($4,000.00 holding for scholar
d. Funding requests: none

award winners to claim this fall upon proof of college/trade school enrollment)
d. Communication
1. Snack Shack Update: Difficult to fill spots. Everyone is encouraged to please help
2. Holiday Auction Committee: Need to put together a committee
3. Bluesapalooza: Need assistance with pouring beer for Thursday pm – Sunday.
Anyone interested must attend training on Thursday. Assistance does not need
to be a MLWC member.
1. September Meeting: Will be at Marcia’s house, and will have a scavenger
hunt activity! Waiting for confirmation that one or more district ladies will
attend.
2. Happy Hour at Bleu: Leisha invited others to attend wine tasting on 7/25.

a. Gimme Shelter Carnival: Carnival is set to start on 7/10. Carnival company was vetted
including employees, background checks came back clear related to child abuse/sex
b. Fall Century: Club has the opportunity to receive $500 for assisting w/manning a station
for riders. Would also entail setting up & tearing down the booth.
c. MLWC Picture Archive: Leisha would like to be able to take old pics from past years of
club activity and digitally archive them. Needs volunteer(s) to begin that process. Marcia
volunteered her son, and Michelle R. volunteered her scanner.
